Munchkin Mummy Chloe shares her review of the Travel Booster Seat with us…
I recently took Charlie to Wales for a week to visit family, we had such a wonderful time and he thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone.
As he is the only baby in the family at the moment and we’re not back in Wales all that often, I took the Munchkin travel booster seat with us as we don’t have use of a high chair whilst we’re staying around my mums. It was absolutely brilliant and really easy to use. You literally fasten one strap around the back of a chair, and one underneath and that’s it, it’s ready for your child.
I have a big family so had lots of visiting to do, so of course that meant a variety of different chairs to test it out on and it adjusted to fit all of them regardless of shape and size which was brilliant.
Charlie’s at that age where he’s very fidgety and hates being restrained, all he wants to do is run around since he found his feet so I was a little bit worried whether it would be sturdy enough to keep him safely in place. I was very pleased to find it did this perfectly, he was very safe and secure despite his best efforts to escape.
A major plus for me is the size of the bag it folds up into. It’s so compact and light, yet it still fits all your essentials. This was important for me as I don’t drive so had to pack all our belongings for the week into the buggy, the travel booster seat/changing bag slipped right on to the handles on the back of the buggy and took up no extra room at all.
I’d say as a mum this was definitely one of my favourite products we’ve been given to review. It’s such a great idea and so handy, I take it everywhere with me now because at the very least it’s a light, compact changing bag, and if you find yourself in the situation where there are no highchairs available, which happens more than you’d think, you don’t have to leave or try and put up with a wriggling child, the bag folds out into the chair with the click of a clasp, and you don’t even have to empty the contents – brilliant!!!
